Log into a CSD or family Chromebook and access Classroom
We've tried to make it easy to access Classroom from your CSD-owned equipment. The video above shows you how, and there are written directions below (click to expand the text).
Using a family Chromebook? The exact screenshots above will look a little different, but they are very close to what you'll see when you add the CSD G Suite account as a separate user on the Chromebook.

Log into the Chrome browser on a family Windows, macOS, or Linux device and access Classroom
We strongly encourage students using a family device to use the Chrome browser and to turn on data sync with their CSD G Suite account. This makes it easier to access learning tools and allows us to push settings to enhance virtual learning. The video above shows you how, and there are written directions below (click to expand the text).
Log into a Chromebook or the Chrome browser
You'll use your CSD G Suite account to access CSD Classroom or log into a CSD-owned Chromebook. The account consists of your account name and password.
(If using a family Windows, macOS or Linux device, we strongly encourage users to first log out of all other Google accounts in Chrome, including personal ones.)
Your CSD G Suite account name is
The last 2 numbers of student number (aka lunch number)
First 4 letters of first name (not your nickname)
First 4 letters of last name
@csdecatur.net
For example, student Ruthabell Scottsville (student number 98227) has the account name 27ruthscot@csdecatur.net.
Your default password is
PreK-2: The student number, e.g. 12345. Students will not be prompted to create a new password.
3-5: The word student followed by their student number, e.g. student12345. Students will not be prompted to create a new password.
